Scouting Adds Voice of Youth to Bank Meeting
The World Organization of the Scout movement was invited to attend the Annual World Bank Conference on Development Economics in Europe, held in Brussels in May.
A roundtable discussion provided an opportunity for World Scouting representative Arturo Romboli (24) to speak on the need to mobilize young people to know more about the Millennium Development Goals (MDG's) and the importance of investing in both formal and non-formal education.
This meeting has become a key event for the discussion of development issues. It brings together an array of academics, politicians, institutes, think tanks, students and journalists.
