"Messengers of Peace" is a World Scouting project created to capitalize on the success of the “Gifts for Peace” projects that were run during the centenary year.
The Messengers of Peace programme is a 10-year initiative for the 161 member countries of the World Organization of the Scout Movement to involve individual Scouts as well as National Scout Organizations from all WOSM regions in peace-building activities.

The World Scout Environment Programme (WSEP) offers tools, resources and initiatives to help Scouts all around the world to work together for the good of the local and global environment.
The World Scout Environment Programme was launched at the World Scout Conference in 2008 in Korea. It strengthens the commitment of World Scouting to the environment.

ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter, warmth and dignity to people affected by disasters worldwide
ShelterBox has a strong history of working with Scout Associations in disaster-stricken zones – they have been of assistance in several countries, including Kenya and Italy. They have also developed a direct partnership with the NSO in the United Kingdom, the United States and France.
