International Events
Welcome to the official International Events list of the World Organization of the Scout Movement!
The list includes some events to which Scouts from other countries can be invited to attend. If you are interested in attending an event in another country, please check first with your National Scout Organization to obtain the latest information, and to see if an invitation is available.
This list includes only:
- Official World Scouting events, including those sanctioned by the Regions of the World Organization.
- Events which are hosted or authorized by national organizations which are members of the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
The list of "Forthcoming International Events" is published twice a year, on paper, by the World Scout Bureau, in May and in December. The addition of new events to the list must be made on the form provided for this purpose, and it must be approved by the National Scout Organization. (This form is available from the National Scout Organization, and also downloadable here in PdF format.)
The first initiative of its kind, a Communications forum will be held in each of the Regions of WOSM between November 2006 and February 2007.
Having considered the number of delegates to be too low for the 5th General Assembly of WSPU, the Senegalese Parliament has decided to postpone the event that was initially planned for 27th-30th November, 2006.

If you are planning a Scouting event and want to invite Scouts from other countries to attend, please complete this form and send it to the World Scout Bureau. This information will be published in the list of Forthcoming International Events, and distributed twice a year, in May and in December, to all National Scout Organizations, and to individuals upon request.
