2007 was a fantastic year for Scouting! Scouts ran exciting programmes, amazing events and incredible projects, showing the world what Scouting is really about and how, together, we can make a difference.

Join-in-Centenary is a year long programme of fun activities and events, based on a resource pack, to help every Scout participate in the Centenary of Scouting to the full no matter where they live.
The World Scout Jamboree is the largest regular event organised by the Scout Movement.
It takes place every four years in a different country. It is above all an educational event to promote peace and understanding among young people all over the world.
Within the framework of the celebration of the Centenary of Scouting, the World Organization of the Scout Movement is organising a World Congress that will take place on 16-17 November 2007 in Geneva at the UN 'Palais des Nations' and the Hotel Ramada Encore.
