A service for life and nature

All are prepared for hiking up the Agua Volcano at the "Climb for Life” that it’s going to be held on Saturday January 21 in order to fight against domestic violence, for this appointment could not miss the giant with his best clothes.
That is why on Sunday January 15 two hundred seventy-eight boys and girls convened by the Youth Network of the Scout Association of Guatemala (SAG) carried out a service that was about cleaning all the way starting at the foot of the volcano, on the shores of Santa Maria de Jesus, the crater, "it's sad to see something so wonderful dirty and full of trash, I hope that after this, people make conscious and keep it cleaner" this were the words of a participant that attended the service. The activity started at four thirty in the morning moving to Santa Maria, and ended at seven in the evening, it was a long day of hard work but full of personal satisfaction to see the volcano now clean.
The service was conducted in coordination with the organization of the event "Climb for Life" and with the collaboration of the British Ambassador, Julie Chappell. After the cleaning service a ceremony was held on on Wednesday 18, in which he was awarded by the Scout Association of Guatemala, the recognition "Good Citizenship Medal" for his extraordinary cooperation against Domestic Violence through this event. To end the ceremony, the ambassador was officially invested as a Honorary Scout by the National Chief Scout, William Collado. The meeting was full of laughs, and good memories by the ambassador and the audience.
