Meeting of South East European Scout Associations
Meeting for the South East European (SEE) Scout Associations took place between 23-25 March 2007 in Castel Fantast in Becej, Serbia. In the meeting participated 22 representatives from 8 SEE Scout Associations and 8 representatives from other European Scout Associations (Finland, Italy, Sweden and UK).
In the meeting, the needs of the SEE Associations were reconfirmed following the results of the last meeting in Thessaloniki (October 2006) and an interactive process was agreed to prepare by the end of April a programme of activities in SEE.
The meeting succeeded in realizing the actual, pragmatic and practical minimum common expectations of the Scout Associations in SEE and reconfirmed the willingness of other European Scout Associations and the European Region to support and assist to the development and the growth of scouting in SEE.
Furthermore, it was re-assured the strong interest of other Scout Associations to develop further the awareness of their members on SEE as an integral part of Europe.
