Sing against Poverty!

Over 1 Billion people live in extreme poverty today, they cannot wait. Despite the MDGs, the aid given, the strong political commitments - their situation has changed. What can you do? You can enter the “Music against poverty” contest 2010.

How you can participate?
If you are from one of the EU 27 countries, between 15 and 25 years old, join “Music against poverty” , just follow the five simple steps:

You have something to say as well? First of all, have a look on the fighter’s checklist on the website: http://www.ifightpoverty.eu/share
You can join the “I fight poverty” page on Facebook, share the message, send emails to your friends and family to increase the awareness, post a banner on your blog and download the fighter’s kit. And don’t forget to sign up to keep in touch with what the EU is doing to fight poverty

Remember that success is only possible together, that’s why EU countries work with many global partners like the United Nations and the World Bank as well as governments of developing countries and civil society of rich and poor countries, which include health workers, environmental activists, teachers, unions and young people, among others.
