Message from the Regional Chairman
Let me extend the invitation of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines for the 26th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree.
The Philippines hosted the First Asia-Pacific Jamboree in 1973. In 2009, the BSP will once again welcome you all to the site that witnessed the unfolding of this very important Scouting history in the region.
As you enjoy the country’s climate, please allow our Scouts to embrace you all with the warmth friendship and goodwill. This is the Scouting Movement’s little contribution to the global quest for peace.
Our programs and activities will provide not just fun but also a learning to our participants.
Meeting people and learning things by doing atop the legendary Mt. Makiling could usher in a new idea of the outdoors.
