Scouts Centenary Celebrations at the Nile
Sudan Scouts celebrated the launch of the Scouts Centenary at the bank of the Nile in Khartoum on the occasion of the” Founder's Day”.
1,000 Scouts from the air, sea and basic scouts went in a big procession in the downtown of Khartoum chanting scout songs and raising flags and Baden Powell`s photos.
Dr. Abelgadir Mohamed Zain State Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport addressed the gathering, and launched the Scouts centenary, declare the national authority support of the sprit flame and participation of Sudan Scouts in the Jamboree. They witness the Air Scouts demonstration and Sea Scouts carnival in the Nile and parents of the scouts visited the exhibition and enjoyed the pioneering skills of the basic scouts.
