Swaziland: the stage is set for the 2009 International Scout Camp
MBABANE - The Swaziland Scout Association (SSA) has invited National Scout Organizations around the globe to their international Scout camp to be held next year between 31 July to 11 August 2009. During this event SSA hopes to exhibit her achievements in terms of youth-oriented projects.
Invited NSOs (National Scout Organizations) include Ghana, Hong Kong, Japan, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique and Namibia. Scouts from South Africa and Tanzania are also expected to attend.
According to the TFL Scout Expo '09 official newsletter Khululeka, the camp promises to be a truly international event and a wonderful experience for local participants.
TFL (Thirst For Life) is a bilateral Scout project between Swaziland and UK. It was initiated after a meeting of two young people who attended the 8th World Scout Youth Forum held in Greece in 2002.
