Scouting for Trees Features in UNEP Tunza Magazine

Scouts' tree planting efforts and commitment to caring for the environment has featured in the latest edition of the United Nations Environment Programme's Tunza Magazine for children and youth. The theme for this edition is 'Connecting with Nature' and the Scout article focuses on the millions of trees planted by Scouts in projects around the world.

The magazine also features a letter of support from the King of Sweden for the environmental projects of Scouts and young people in this centenary year of Scouting, encouraging them to 'Go ahead and make a difference!'

Tunza Magazine is a great resource for young people interested in environmental issues, with many interesting stories and practical ways to make a positive contribution to the environment. The magazine reaches over 750,000 readers and is available for viewing online from: www.unep.org/Publications/Tunza.asp
