Prince and Princess Akishino grace Asia-Pacific Conference opening

Prince and Princess Akishino graced the opening ceremony of the 22nd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Conference held at the National Youth Center in Yoyogi, Tokyo, Japan on 18 October 2007.

In his speech, the Prince expressed his high expectations for the conference and the Scout Movement as well.
The Conference, which is the largest Scout gathering in the region by having the participation of almost 530 participants from 48 countries will run for four days tackling the region’s operations, educational policies and strategic plan.
