8th World Scout Youth Forum
From 8 to 12 July, 2002, 139 participants, of which 111 also attended the World Scout Conference, from 47 countries and all 6 world regions met in Metsovo, Greece, for the 8th World Scout Youth Forum.
The Forum programme aimed to answer five crucial questions facing Scouting in the new millennium:
- Are we making a difference? (Impact)
- Where are the young people? (Users)
- Are our programmes attractive to Adolescents? (Tools)
- Is the Scout method really used? (Process)
- Are we preparing young people to be active members of society? (Results)
