Youth Programme
This is an interin support tool for the third and fourth stages of the progressive badge system for Scouts and also a personal tool to record the achievement of personal educational objectives.
Six different models of seals (stamps), one corresponding to each growth (development) area: the fish for Physical development, the bird for Creativity, the turtle for Character, the flower for Affective development, the bee for Social development and the tree for Spiritual development.
Four different badges, one for each progress stage:
Track (when a boy or a girl begins working on the personal objectives for the 11 to 13 age group),
Trail (when the Scout has achieved about half of the educational objectives for the 11 to 13 age group),
Course (from the time when the young person has reached all or almost all of the personal objectives for the 11 to 13 age group) and
Traverse when the scout has succesfully completed about half of the educational objectives for the 13 to 15 age group).
A book for adult leaders in the Scout Unit and educators that work with youngsters form 11 to 15 years old. It contains suggestions for 60 educational activities. There are 10 activities suggested with emphasis in each of the six growth (development) areas (physical development, creativity, character, affective development, social development, spiritual development).
