Scouting for Boys
Scouting for Boys, written by Baden-Powell, Founder of the Scout Movement, was first published in 1908. More than ninety years after the first publication, Scouting for Boys is still much in circulation in many languages. The large and growing Scout population in the Asia-Pacific Region prompted the World Scout Bureau to have the book reprinted based largely on the World Brotherhood Edition.
With Scouting for Boys, we could rediscover how the Scout Movement was conceived by Baden Powell; how Scouting practices have evolved over time; and how the principles of Scouting remain widely relevant and applicable to young people all around the world.
