Scouts in Asia-Pacific campaign for peace

All across Asia-Pacific, over 150,000 people including Scouts, heads of states, government leaders and various sectors joined the Asia Pacific Rover Peace baton that traveled over 75,000 kilometers in 24 countries.

Among those who joined the peace campaign is 2006 Nobel Laureate for Peace, Professor Dr Mohammad Yunus of Bangladesh and seven heads of states. The Rover Peace Baton completed its 7-month journey on 10 March in Manila after traveling to Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Republic of China, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Solomon Islands and Thailand.
