As an ancillary event to the 22nd Regional Scout Conferencem, the 5th APR Course for Leader Trainers became a melting pot of disparate training style and culture as 35 Leader Trainers from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Scouts of China, Fiji, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong and French Polynesia, gathered and worked together from 10th to 16th October at the National Youth Center in Tokyo, Japan.
The workshop, covering the direct link of ICT in major Scouting operational areas, is hosted by Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia (The Scout Association of Malaysia) right at the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 5-9 September 2007.
Having known the fact that Scout leaders at the unit level have a pivotal role in the actual demonstration of Scouting’s educational objectives, 29 Unit Leaders from 11 countries attended the APR Unit Leaders Roundtable from 5-8 June in Tarlac City, Philippines.
World Scout Bureau organized for the first time the Scouts of the World Workshop on 28-31 May 2007 at the Vajiravudh Scout Camp in Thailand. The aim of the workshop is to share with National Scout Organizations the technical process of developing the Scouts of the World programme as a way of revitalizing the Senior and Rover sections for 15 to 26 year-old members. Countries represented were Bhutan, Republic of China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand for a total of 42 participants.
A good mix of young girls and boys with special needs were the participants of the 23rd Agoonoree which was hosted by Korea Scout Association (KSA) from 24-27 May 2007 at the beautiful island of Jeju.
Although, he was never a Scout, Australia's Prime Minister John Howard can't help but be impressed with the Scouts Australia, Australia's national Scout organization, describing it as the greatest youth movement in the country.

An Events Management Workshop designed to help Scouts and Leaders at the national level better understand the importance of events management in Scouting was held at the National Scout Training Centre, Mouchak, Gazipur District from 05 - 09 April 2007.
All across Asia-Pacific, over 150,000 people including Scouts, heads of states, government leaders and various sectors joined the Asia Pacific Rover Peace baton that traveled over 75,000 kilometers in 24 countries.
The Scout Association of Japan now opens registration for the 22nd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Conference to be held in Tokyo on 18-23 October 2007. This year’s conference targets the participation of around 700 Scout leaders and young adults.
