This strategic priority aims at strengthening Scouting's communications, partnerships and resources at all levels as these are vital in supporting the work to achieve the mission.

Here are some examples of work in National Scout Organisations who have been developing the different aspects of Scouting's Profile.

AFRICA REGION - taking the message of Scouting to members of the Movement and the public via local radio stations. (pdf)

ANGOLA - Scouts involvement in the campaign to eradicate polio. (pdf)

ARAB REGION - Effective partnerships with other non-governmental organizations to help Scouts improve themselves and their communities. (pdf)

ASIA-PACIFIC REGION - the Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Foundation generating income to support projects in National Scout Associations. (pdf)

ASIA-PACIFIC REGION - a study to determine the knowledge and attitudes towards Scouting to see how Scouting's Images can be

AUSTRALIA - Scouts have been active in planting 700,000 trees over a four year period to help save two of Australia’s largest river systems, the Darling and the Murray. (pdf)

GHANA - Scouts raise the profile of Scouting in the community and raise money by providing breakfast for citizens of their capital city, Accra. (pdf)

UK - Scouts in Greater Manchester East run a camp over the JOTA/JOTI weekend. This offers Scouts a wide range of educational activities and promotes participation in a world event which attracts over half a million participants. (pdf)
UK - a public relations initiative of The Scout Association to improve press coverage for Scouting by training young people to work with news media and to represent the programmes related to Scouting's Centenary. (pdf)

WOSM - World Scouting is one of seven partners in an alliance of the world's largest youth Movements. This alliance has been very influential in developing the understanding of 'non-formal' education and continues to work on behalf of young people worldwide. (pdf)
