An initiative to enhance the appeal and relevance of Scouting in Australia

Recent World and Regional Conferences encouraged NSOs to involve young people in their decision making processes.

To provide young people with a stronger voice at national level, Scouts Australia established a National Youth Council.

Until this initiative, there were no established processes at national level to achieve this, other than the Youth Forums held with all major National Events (Jamborees, Venturers and Moots).
