International Fellowship of Scouting Rotarians

The International Fellowship of Scouting Rotarians (IFSR) aims to develop an international association for Rotarians who are or have been active members of any Scout Movement (Boy Scout or Girl Scout or Girl Guide).

IFSR's establishment in 1991 created the appropriate body in which to combine the dual interests of World Scouting and Rotary International.

The principle objectives of IFSR are:

  • To encourage and foster the ideal of service by Rotarians between Rotary International and the World Scout Movement;
  • To provide opportunities for social interaction between members;
  • To give active encouragement to the Scout Movement at local, national, and international levels.

Since its inception, IFSR has worked to support World Scouting. In 2002, IFSR's Rotary & Scouting Centennial Project was launched in support of Scouting's "Operation One World".

IFSR is currently working with World Scouting to support Operation One World, the solidarity fund of the 21st World Scout Jamboree.
